Studia Musicologica Norvegica (establ. 1968) is a peer-reviewed journal and the primary forum for the publication of musicological research in Norway. Submissions employing historical, analytical, anthropological and sociological approaches are welcomed, as are those discussing broader historiographical and aesthetic issues. The editorial board accepts articles following academic standards for consideration through a refereed process. Articles may be submitted in English or Norwegian. The journal is published by Scandinavian University Press in collaboration with the Norwegian Musicological Society and with support from Nasjonalt tidsskriftkonsortium for humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap.
