Founded in 1998,"Studi sulla Formazione" aimed at those in the academic world who are dedicated to advancing the field of education through their research. "Studi sulla Formazione" provides a range of articles that speak to the major issues in education across all content areas and disciplines. The journal is published two times per year and edited through a rigorous double blind review process that utilizes a national and international editorial board and peer reviewers. SSF promotes to advance research in the field of education through a collection of quality, relevant, and advanced interdisciplinary articles. Some of the topics covered in the past have been those related to teacher training, school distress, the formative dimension of interaction with new technologies, creativity in the current training, theories on pedagogical complexity, intergenerational epistemological perspectives, training through sport and motor sciences, narratives as elements of training, reflection on the pedagogical and educational contribution of Edgard Morin, the relevance of John Dewey, etc. "Studi sulla formazione" is a scientific, biannual journal, edited through a rigorous double-blind review process that employs a national and international editorial board and peer reviewers. The Journal is classified in "band A" by Anvur since 2012 because it is recognized as excellent at an international level for the rigor of its review procedures and for its diffusion, but also for the prestige and epistemological-cultural impact it has on the community of scholars in the pedagogical-educational sector.
