Statistics: A Journal of Theoretical and Applied Statistics (Statistics)
Journal Descriptions
Statistics is a leading international research journal that publishes high-quality research articles which develop new theory, methods and applications in any active field of statistics and statistical learning. Papers submitted for consideration should provide novel contributions to statistical theory, with rigorous mathematical proofs; or relevant statistical applications, with well demonstrated use cases. Statistics does not publish papers which contain non-applicable statistical theory, or statistical applications not based on a solid theoretical background (e.g. pure case studies which are not interesting from a statistical view). Topics of interest include, for example: statistical learning machine learning nonparametric statistics functional data analysis time series network models econometrics psychometrics survival analysis risk management evaluation of artificial intelligence applications. Proposals for high-quality special issues within the general framework of the journal will be considered on their merit and should be sent to the Co-Editors for review.
