Journal Descriptions
Stat & Styring is devoted to topical problems within the public sector and is professionally and politically independent. By means of articles, debates and interviews the journal focuses on leadership, competence, quality, user relationships, efficiency improvement and reorganisation in the public sector both in Norway and internationally. Universitetsforlaget publishes Stat & Styring in collaboration with the Ministry of Government Administration and Reform, which also provides economic support. Stat & Styring addresses itself to those who are employed in state, regional and local sectors, to politicians, and to educational and research environments and to consultant activities. Stat & Styring is published quarterly, and the journal receives contributions mainly in Norwegian but will also consider especially relevant material in Swedish and Danish.
