The South African Journal of Bioethics and Law is a bi-annual journal for health professionals dealing with bioethics, law, human rights and related topics. A call for papers:The SAJBL is a key new journal that is dedicated to discussions of significant and critical issues surrounding the application of bioethics, health law and human rights in clinical practice, health policy and regulation and research. The journal will be an electronic one that will be issued twice a year. The editors welcome submissions from authors under the following headings: Empirical Ethics, Clinical Ethics, Health Policy and Law, Case Studies, and Review Articles. Cross-disciplinary debate is encouraged in order to increase the understanding of the complex ethical issues challenging consumers and providers of health care. SAJBL is widely recognized for addressing pressing issues such as medical consent, end-of-life decisions, reproductive rights, healthcare resource allocation, and medical negligence. It operates a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic integrity and policy relevance. The journal is published twice a year and is fully open access, allowing global dissemination of its content. It is indexed in major databases including Scopus and DOAJ, reflecting its international academic standing. SAJBL plays a key role in bridging the gap between legal frameworks and medical practice, supporting ethical decision-making in healthcare systems and contributing to policy development in bioethics and health law.
