Sosiologisk tidsskrift (ST)

Journal of Sociology (Sosiologisk tidsskrift) publishes articles based on empiric sociologic research and theoretic and methodologic work. The journal also conveys reviews of the latest literature in the field and is a forum for debate and comments, primarily on issues in the field but also on the relationship between sociology and society. The journal is scientific, and articles are reviewed by specialists in the field. Journal of Sociology is published by Universitetsforlaget with support of Nasjonalt tidsskriftkonsortium for humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap and in collaboration with the institutes of sociology at Norwegian universities and the Norwegian Sociological Association. Various other departments at universities and institutions of higher education also contribute economically. In addition to sociologists, the journal is directed to researchers, teachers and students within related social science fields. Members of the Norwegian Sociological Association receive the journal included in the membership fee. Journal of Sociology is issued quarterly. Contributions from Swedish, Danish and English-language authors are usually published in the original language.
