Sociologie (Sociologie)

Created in 2010, Sociologie is both published in hard copy by Presses Universitaires de France and available online, with four issues per year. As a generalist journal, its main objective is to publish original scientific articles. As its title indicates, it is a sociology journal (not a social science journal), but one that is open to other disciplines that may wish to discuss its concepts and objects. Sociologie does not claim to belong to any particular theoretical or methodological school. It favours a pluralist approach to the discipline, subject only to respect for the rules of evidence. Its title, deliberately in the singular, reflects this commitment to the unity of the discipline. Sociologie is published with the support of the Institut des sciences humaines et sociales of the CNRS and the scientific backing of the EHESS.
