The Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy is a well-established and internationally recognized journal that aims to provide a forum for occupational therapy and occupational science research worldwide and especially the Nordic countries. The journal welcomes contributions mirroring a wide range of societal levels, from the individual to the surrounding contexts of society. Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy welcomes original research articles such as: Theoretical and conceptual frameworks Instrument development and psychometrics Development, evaluation and implementation of interventions Development of the profession and the subject occupational therapy and occupational science The Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy (SJOT) is owned by the five Nordic occupational therapist associations through the SJOT Foundation, which was formed in 1993.
