The RJEAS publishes information about advances and their applications in making better use of the Rwandan and regional end environment in the fields of Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Animal and Crop Sciences, Forestry, Agricultural mechanization, Food science and Nutrition, Agricultural Economics, Aquaculture and fisheries. Articles describing application of mathematical modeling, ICT, genomics, climate change, informatics, remote sensing and geographic information systems in agriculture and environment but not limited to, are highly welcome. RJAS is meant to be national, regional and international both in the source of articles and its readership. RJAS publishes high-quality original research articles, review papers, and technical notes in the fields of agricultural sciences and related disciplines. Its scope includes crop production, soil science, animal sciences, veterinary medicine, agribusiness, agricultural engineering, forestry, food systems, and environmental sustainability. The journal particularly focuses on agricultural challenges relevant to tropical Africa and developing economies. The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific validity, originality, and methodological quality. It is published twice a year and serves as an open-access platform for researchers, academics, students, and policymakers. RJAS plays a significant role in promoting agricultural innovation, food security, and sustainable rural development in Rwanda and the wider East African region. It also supports capacity building in agricultural research by providing a publication outlet for emerging scholars and contributing to evidence-based agricultural policy formulation.
