Romanticism offers a forum for the best critical and scholarly work in Romantic studies today. The journal focuses on the literary period of 1750-1850, publishing research on critical, historical, textual and bibliographical aspects, representing a full range of current methodological and theoretical debates. Now in its 25th anniversary year, for three decades the peer-review journal Romanticism has been publishing the most distinguished critical and scholarly work in the field. Focusing on the period 1750-1850, the journal continues to welcome critical, historical, textual and bibliographical essays prepared to the highest scholarly standards, and seeks to represent a full range of current methodological and theoretical debate. Each issue contains at least six substantial reviews of recent books. Romanticism now looks forward to its next quarter century as the most vital international publishing arena for scholarly debate in this liveliest field of literary studies.
