Rock and Soil Mechanics (RSM)

Rock and Soil Mechanics is a nationwide academic journal hosted by Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It involves researches of geomechanics and engineering, typical engineering cases, test technologies and test methods, academic discussions, academy and engineering developments and academic forums etc. Since 1999, abstracts published on Rock and Soil Mechanics are embodied by Ei Compendex, one of the four international retrieval systems. It joined in Cambridge Scientific Abstracts(CSA) upon invitation, 2006. Rock and Soil Mechanics is one of the Chinese core journals, it is also the journal for Chinese Science Citation Database and Source Journals for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations; and its full text is embodied by China Journal Net, CAJ-CD, Wanfang Data, Chongqing Vip. The periodical was cited as the sixth excellent journal in Hubei Province in 2008 for its high academic level; it was cited as the provincial outstanding printed publication, 2006 because of its good printing quality. In recent years, all the indexes climb stably: the influential factors of academic journals are 0.645 in 2007(ranking second in rock and soil mechanics); total citation frequency is 2060(ranking first in rock and soil mechanics).
