Founded in 1876, the Revue philosophique publishes four issues a year. Most are devoted to a fundamental notion, a major period in the history of thought, or a particular author - classic or contemporary. Each issue also includes analyses of a large number of philosophical works published around the world. Information keeps readers abreast of events in philosophical life, in particular symposia and congresses organized in France and abroad. The journal is scientifically recognized by the CNRS.
