Revue Internationale d'Intelligence Economique (R2IE)
Journal Descriptions
The Revue Internationale d'Intelligence Économique (R2IE) is a scientific publication dedicated to studying the various aspects of economic intelligence, such as strategic intelligence, influence communication, risk management and the economic security of companies and states. As such, it welcomes contributions from an exhaustive multi-disciplinary field: economics and management, law, political science and information and communication sciences. Business intelligence: an essential new managerial practice. Economic intelligence, which has long been practised by our economic partners in a variety of forms, is emerging as a managerial culture inherent to the decisive turning point our contemporary economies are experiencing: hypercompetition, uncertainty and instability. Companies, as well as governments and local authorities, have a growing need for high value-added information. This enables them to anticipate potential disruptions in a strategic environment, communicate more effectively, or master contemporary techniques of influence (cyber-lobbying and e-reputation, for example). In other words, IE has become a proactive decision-making tool. The R2IE has set itself the goal of helping organizations to better understand global risk and gain a sustainable competitive advantage, by participating in the dissemination of business intelligence in France. To this end, it brings together researchers and practitioners in a collaborative approach aimed at creating the first network of expertise of its kind.
