Each issue of Revue historique publishes previously unpublished articles by French and foreign authors, as well as Mélanges, most of which focus on historical issues revitalized by recent research, and numerous book reviews. Abstracts and keywords, in French and English, ensure its readability and facilitate its international influence. The editorial board ensures scientific quality, drawing on the expertise of the best national and international specialists. It also seeks to promote new historians. Articles cover the entire historical discipline, from Antiquity to the present day, in various fields, from the economic to the political, from the social to the religious, from the material to the cultural. In some issues, they may be grouped together to form a unifying theme. The magazine is open to interpretations from different historical schools, without exclusivity, as long as subjects are treated with the scientific rigor necessary to the discipline. The aim of this generalist perspective is to convey the achievements and openings of recent historical research. In each issue, the Historical Review publishes completely new in-depth articles by French and foreign authors, as well as Miscellanies, which are most often updates on historical issues brought to light by recent work, and numerous book reviews. Abstracts and keywords, in French and English, ensure its readability and facilitate its international influence. The editorial board ensures its scientific quality and draws on the expertise of the best national and international specialists.
