Revue française d'histoire économique (RFHE)

The Revue française d'histoire économique (French Economic History Review) has been published since November 2013 by Presses de la Recherche historique. Its aim is to publicize and disseminate the work of French and foreign researchers, both in the French-speaking world and throughout the global scientific community, covering the entire field of economic and social history in the modern and contemporary periods. It has a prestigious editorial and scientific committee. It is published twice a year. Articles are published in French or English, with abstracts in both languages. The dossiers, comprising five to six scientific articles of 40,000 to 50,000 characters, are accompanied by the magazine's regular columns, such as the editorial (varia issue) or introduction (special issues), round tables, an in-depth review of a major work or scientific event, reviews of major works, archives (presentation of a collection or original document with commentary), announcements of scientific events, bilingual abstracts and books received by the editorial staff. Previous issues have focused on the construction industry in the 20th century: an international comparison from a corporate perspective, the originality of the French model of economic development, as well as Globalization, national development models and corporate strategies in the 19th and 21st centuries, and Local development and the global strategy of two 20th-century aluminum multinationals: Alcan and Pechiney. The most recent volumes were devoted to the 350th anniversary of the Saint-Gobain company and to economic, financial and technological relations between Russia and the West at the dawn of the First World War.
