Revue de psychothérapie psychanalytique de groupe (RPPG)
Journal Descriptions
The conventional image of psychoanalysis limits its practice to the development of a dual relationship. However, since the birth of Freudian psychoanalysis, analysts have paid close attention to the life and workings of groups, whose theoretical and clinical exploration is constantly expanding. The Journal of Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy (RPPG) was created in 1985, at the initiative of the French Society of Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy (SFPPG). Since then, the Federation of Associations of Analytic Group Psychotherapy (FAPAG) has joined forces to ensure the journal's openness to the different approaches to psychoanalytic group psychotherapy in France and abroad (theoretical frameworks, systems, applications). It has different sections: a main theme, articles outside the theme, research, historical approaches, testimonies, and an international section with the participation of foreign colleagues. It publishes abstracts of articles in French, English, and Spanish.
