Journal Descriptions
Founded in 1983, the Revue de philosophie ancienne publishes articles in French, English and German in the field of ancient philosophy and its reception, without exclusivity as to the interpretative traditions in which they are embedded. It also publishes critical reviews and occasional thematic issues. It is currently directed by Sylvain Delcomminette (Université Libre de Bruxelles), who succeeded Lambros Couloubaritsis as Editor in 2012. On this occasion, a new scientific committee was brought together, further strengthening the journal's long-standing international vocation, notably by opening it up to Latin America and Asia.
