Revue de littérature comparée (RLC)
Journal Descriptions
Founded in 1921 by Fernand Baldensperger and Paul Hazard, the Revue de littérature comparée , written in French and English, is a peer-reviewed journal with a wide international distribution. Dedicated to comparative studies on European and world literature, it offers historical, theoretical, and methodological approaches. Published quarterly, it alternates between two thematic issues, each edited by an editor-in-chief, and two issues featuring articles on a variety of topics. Proposals for articles, written in French or English, are submitted anonymously for review by two reviewers appointed by the editorial committee. The non-thematic issues each publish a significant number of book reviews as well as, regularly, critical studies and documentary notes which make this journal the reference working instrument in the field of comparative research on literature.
