Revue de Gestion des Ressources Humaines (RGRH)
Journal Descriptions
The Revue de Gestion des Ressources Humaines (RGRH), which can be translated as the Journal of Human Resource Management, is published by Editions Eska. The first issue was published in 1991 by Editions Eska, with Jacques Rojot and the publisher as founders. The journal appeared at a time when Human Resource Management was developing as an academic field in its own right. The Association Francophone de Gestion des Ressources Humaines (French-Speaking Human Resource Management Association) had been founded the previous year, in 1989, by Jacques Igalens, and until then there had been no journal specializing in Human Resource Management for French speakers. Although independent, the RGRH (the journal) and the AGRH (the academic association) have maintained close relations for over 30 years in order to defend academic research in Human Resource Management, thanks in particular to the steadfast commitment of AGRH presidents (Florence Noguéra, Charles-Henri Besseyre des Horts, Jean-Michel Plane, Aline Scouarnec, Jean-Marie Peretti, Maurice Thevenet, Marc Bonnet, Bruno Sire, Georges Trépo, Pierre Louart) who, over the years, have upheld the partnership between RGRH and AGRH, enabling participants in AGRH’s annual congress to benefit from a subscription to RGRH.
