Revue économique (RE)
Journal Descriptions
The Revue économique was created in 1950, under the aegis of the École pratique des hautes études by a group of academics belonging to the Collège de France and the Faculties of Law and Letters of Paris. From its inception, its objective has been to publish original work concerning all areas of economic research, both theoretical and empirical. It has also always sought to welcome contributions from other social sciences (in particular history and sociology) capable of enriching the thinking and methods of economists. It is therefore a general journal open to all trends in economic analysis, of which it aims to offer as broad a vision as possible. The Revue économique is aimed at an audience of teachers, researchers, students, but also economists in administration, businesses and financial institutions in France and abroad. Publication decisions, taken by the Editorial Board, are based on the expertise of a vast network of anonymous reviewers. The Scientific Council, which has around thirty members and meets at least twice a year, defines the editorial policy and sets the themes for special issues. The Economic Review publishes six issues per year. The Economic Review is published with the support of the CNRS.The Revue économique has been publishing original research in theoretical and applied economics since 1950. It is a general interest journal open to all schools of thought in the discipline, with a target audience of teachers, researchers, students and professional economists in public administration, financial institutions and entities.
