Revue Burkinabè de droit (RBD)
Journal Descriptions
The RBD is composed of three parts: doctrine - case law - chronicle of legislation. The doctrine part includes articles on Burkinabe law, written mainly by the teachers of the UFR/Legal and Political Sciences. The case law section includes a selection of the decisions and rulings of the Burkinabe courts. Some of these decisions and rulings are the subject of comments by teachers. Finally, the chronic part of legislation gives the legislation and regulations that have been adopted over a given semester. In addition to the fact that our journal is run by teachers and legal practitioners, it has an organization composed of a steering committee, a scientific committee and an editorial board. The journal focuses on both national and comparative legal issues, including constitutional law, administrative law, criminal justice, human rights, and international law. It also highlights the evolution of legal systems in West Africa, with particular attention to legal reforms, governance structures, and access to justice in developing countries.
