The VERITAS journal of the Law Program is a publication endorsed and recognized by Resolution No. 65 of the Council of the Faculty of Education and Sciences. Veritas journal aims to promote a dialogue of knowledge and discussion on current legal, political, epistemic, and social issues in the fields of law and the social and legal sciences, fostering a critical attitude and promoting the scientific output of researchers, faculty, and students. It is defined as a biannual peer-reviewed publication edited by the Department of Law and Social Sciences. The VERITAS Journal is positioned as a scientific publication in the fields of law, political science, and social sciences. It is subject to a systematic peer-review process. Veritas is intended as a forum for the dissemination of articles resulting from empirical research, reviews, reflections, case reports, editorial notes and letters, reviews, and interviews with leading scholars in the journal's field of interest, based on original and unpublished texts. Target audience Veritas readers include researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, educators, professionals, social organizations, communities, and individuals interested in knowledge production from the fields of law and social sciences.
