SALUTA is a biannual, digital publication. It is open access and free of charge to authors. It is funded and published by the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) of the Republic of Panama. Its Editorial Committee requires the originality of each manuscript submitted for consideration for publication, which is immediately and permanently available for easy reading and downloading. The journal's objective is to disseminate research, theoretical and empirical studies, as well as discussions and controversies taking place in the field of health sciences. Starting in 2022, SALUTA will be published in both Spanish and English, i.e., it will be a bilingual journal, in line with the institution's efforts to internationalize, make its content visible, and disseminate it.
