The journal La Propiedad Intangible (print ISSN: 1657-1959; digital ISSN: 2346-2116) has been established as a leading publication in the field of intellectual property and new technologies. For several years, it has continuously fulfilled its initial purpose of channeling the expression of scientists and researchers and disseminating knowledge on this subject to the entire academic community. This publication began as an annual publication and has been published semiannually since 2015. It is aimed at all students, researchers, and professionals interested in new technologies, the digital age, biotechnology, and intellectual property in Colombian and international issues. The Center for Intellectual Property Studies at the Externado de Colombia University, as a research unit and knowledge-generating center, took the initiative to create this publication as a means of communicating with national and international experts and establishing a presence within the university community. Thus, the Journal of Intangible Property has established itself as a leading publication in the field of intellectual property and new technologies.
