Revista Derecho del Estado (RDE)

The Journal of State Law (print ISSN: 0122-9893; digital ISSN: 2346-2051) is an academic, scientific publication, open to discussion, whose objective is to promote theoretical, analytical and critical analysis of public law, under the understanding that through doctrinal debate it is possible to advance, from legal science, in the construction of a better regime of rights and freedoms, in the improvement of democracy and in the consolidation and defense of the constitutional State, as well as in the creation of a true international community. The Journal has been published quarterly since 2019 and publishes works by Colombian and international researchers, as well as the proceedings of the academic activities frequently conducted by the Department of Constitutional Law at the Externado University. This publication is aimed at all graduate students, researchers, and professionals interested in constitutional law, public international law, administrative law, political science, and, in general, Colombian and international issues. The journal requires that authors authorize, through a user license, the editing, publication, reproduction, distribution, and public communication of their work, both in physical and digital formats, for exclusively scientific, cultural, dissemination, and non-profit purposes. Authors retain copyright and guarantee the journal the right to be the first to publish the work, which will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike. Reproduction of documents in other print and/or electronic media must include acknowledgment of the authorship of the work and its initial publication, as stipulated in the license. Authors may publish their documents in any repository or website. Immediately after publication, articles will be sent on magnetic media to the different databases and indexing systems for the dissemination of their content.
