Revista de Jóvenes Investigadores Ad Valorem (RJIV)

The Ad Valorem Journal is aimed at researchers, professionals, and students of economics, and in general, the academic and scientific communities of higher education institutions in the Caribbean region and throughout the country. This journal publishes original research papers related to economics or other subfields of social sciences related to economics and business. Publications are divided into five types: scientific articles (results, reflections, and reviews), analytical reviews of scientific productions (books, films, documentaries), interviews, research notes, and case studies applied to business. The emphasis is on qualitative, quantitative, and analytical works characterized by methodological and scientific rigor that present novel and timely topics. All submissions must be original and unpublished and must not be simultaneously submitted for publication to another publication medium. The peer review system for evaluating articles is defined by two double-blind peers, which guarantees the anonymity of the authors and reviewers. This review process is carried out in two parts: first, an editorial review of the submitted document is performed, examining aspects of form and consistency in relation to the thematic areas declared by the Journal. Pre-selected articles are sent to the peer review process, which may result in final rejection, rejection with the authors being advised that additional work might warrant a resubmission, acceptance with substantial modifications, acceptance with minor modifications, or acceptance without modification.
