Revista de Derecho Privado (RDP)

The Revista de Derecho Privado (print ISSN: 0123-4366; digital ISSN: 2346-2442) is a biannual publication that compiles the research results of national and international professors and jurists of interest to the legal community. The Journal addresses topics of private law, paying special attention to its development within the Roman law tradition, highlighting the contrasts and similarities between the Latin American legal system and the European legal system, without neglecting, of course, the now obligatory comparison with the systems of so-called Anglo-American law. The Journal, made available to the scientific and academic community in general (teachers, researchers and students), and to members of the forum (lawyers, judges, public servants and legal professionals), is aimed at all those jurists who, from theory or practice, seek to deepen their knowledge of private law, with a vision that starts from its Romanist foundations and arrives at the identification of a Latin American system that can be compared with the European system and even with the law of Anglo-Saxon tradition. The journal requires that authors authorize, through a user license, the editing, publication, reproduction, distribution, and public communication of their work, both in physical and digital formats, for exclusively scientific, cultural, and dissemination purposes, and for non-profit purposes. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to be the first to publish the work, which will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. Reproduction of documents in other print and/or electronic media must include acknowledgment of the authorship of the work and its initial publication, as stipulated in the license. Authors may publish their document in any repository or website.
