CATHEDRA Journal is published twice a year in print and digital formats. It is open access and free of charge to authors. It is funded and published by the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) of the Republic of Panama. Its Editorial Committee requires the originality of each manuscript submitted for consideration for publication, which is immediately and permanently available for easy reading and downloading. CATHEDRA, a journal of law and forensic sciences, covers a specialized scientific field and publishes research articles related to the aforementioned sciences. The papers presented are the result of the ongoing efforts of the community of researchers, students, and faculty members of the Metropolitan University of Education, Science, and Technology (UMECIT), as well as those scholars of law and forensic science interested in presenting their research results or their reflections on topics in the field, with the scientific rigor required for peer-reviewed publication.
