Rajagiri Journal of Social Development is a peer‑reviewed academic journal published twice yearly by Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous), Kochi, Kerala, India. Established in 2005 during the college’s golden jubilee celebrations, the journal aims to disseminate rigorous field‑based and conceptual research that contributes to understanding and advancing social development theory and practice. It serves as a platform for academics, practitioners, policymakers, and field workers engaged in programmes and activities concerned with empowerment, community organisation, sustainable development, welfare initiatives, and interdisciplinary social work. The journal includes research articles, development practice reports, from‑the‑field perspectives, and book reviews that offer critical insights into contemporary challenges and programmes in social development.
