Pulmonology is the official journal of the Portuguese Society of Pulmonology (Sociedade Portuguesa de Pneumologia/SPP). Pulmonology publishes clinical and experimental works on respiratory medicine. In addition to original articles and reviews, it also publishes editorial commentaries, short research, letters to the editor, correspondence, and images. Pulmonology publishes a wide range of research to promote advances in the pathophysiology, genetics, diagnosis, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, follow-up and translational and clinical research in the field of respiratory diseases. The journal provides a unique forum for the discussion, design, and evaluation of more efficient and effective strategies in patient care. Types of articles include original research, reviews, commentaries, and conference proceedings.
