The PPmP is aimed at psychotherapists, psychologists and psychiatrists. The journal is the scientific publication forum for research activities in the areas of psychotherapy, psychosomatics and medical psychology. It is the scientific organ of the German College for Psychosomatic Medicine (DKPM) and the German Society for Medical Psychology (DGMP) . Original works. New scientific findings in the field of psychosocial medicine are presented and discussed so that you, the reader, are always up to date with the latest scientific findings. Review papers. The current research situation on a topic is systematically processed and critically examined, taking into account the relevant literature. Case reports. Clinical cases that appear particularly interesting due to their peculiarities and valuable for further education and training are presented and discussed. Diagnostic procedures. Validation studies are published on psychological test procedures, interview methods, etc., or norm and cutoff values are presented on suitable representative or clinical samples. Current psychosomatic and psychotherapeutic treatment approaches. Interesting new therapy manuals, therapy concepts or clinical models with high practical relevance are presented. Questions from research practice. You will receive answers and tips on questions that regularly arise in research practice and that are not already answered in method textbooks - specifically on a real existing problem. CME training contributions. Specialist knowledge for your further training and knowledge refresher is brought to the point in a practical, compact and reader-friendly way - and at the same time you can collect up to 12 CME points per year.
