Psychiatrie, Sciences humaines, Neurosciences (PSN)
Journal Descriptions
The journal Psychiatry, Human Sciences, Neurosciences (PSN) occupies a crucial position at the crossroads of clinical psychiatry, neurobiology and human sciences. Dedicated to the understanding of normal and pathological mental functions, a complex and multidimensional subject that calls into question the skills of several disciplines and solicits diversified approaches, PSN also proposes an interdisciplinary dialogue with a variety of branches of knowledge linked to psychiatry. In this way, the journal integrates the practical orientation of a specialty born of the medical sciences with epistemological reflection on its foundations. Since January 2003, the quarterly PSN has provided a forum for debate, in-depth analysis and synthesis of scientific issues in these fields (back issues of PSN are available on the Springer website). Each issue is designed to provide readers with a wide range of topics related to clinical and therapeutic practice, as well as an interdisciplinary opening towards the neurosciences and humanities. PSN is a French-language periodical covering all aspects of international clinical and research psychiatry, offering readers high-quality original and review articles, selected by an editorial board. PSN is a French-language journal (4 issues per year) which covers all aspects of clinical and international research in psychiatry, and offers its readers original and review texts, selected by a reading committee.
