Port Harcourt Medical Journal's objectives are to disseminate medical information from the College of Health Sciences, University of Port Harcourt and the rest of the national and international medical community; act as a medium for the articulation of research and findings from same as well as proceedings of medical conferences of professional societies among the national and international medical community; and promote cooperation among medical scientists world wide.The journal publishes a wide range of scholarly articles including original research papers, review articles, case reports, and clinical studies. Its scope covers both basic and clinical medical sciences, with emphasis on improving healthcare delivery and advancing medical knowledge.
