Polymer Science & Technology (PST)

Polymer Science & Technology is a newly launched open-access international journal dedicated to advancing research and innovation in polymer science and its interdisciplinary frontiers. Co-published by ACS Publications and the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (Chinese Academy of Sciences), the journal debuted in 2025 with a mission to publish high-impact original research, reviews, letters, perspectives, and editorials that address fundamental polymer science as well as emerging technological applications. The scope spans sustainable polymer synthesis and recycling, advanced polymer characterization, structure-property relationships, functional polymer materials for healthcare and energy, and integration of computational and artificial intelligence methods in polymer design. By prioritizing research that contributes to societal needs and sustainability goals, the journal fosters interdisciplinary collaboration across chemistry, materials science, engineering, and applied physics. As an open-access journal, Polymer Science & Technology ensures that all published content is freely accessible to the global scientific community, with article publishing charges waived for submissions accepted through December 31, 2027. With a monthly publication schedule, the journal aims to become a leading venue for researchers in polymer science seeking rapid dissemination of transformative research that bridges theory and application.
