Polymer Chemistry welcomes submissions in all areas of polymer science that have a strong focus on macromolecular chemistry. Manuscripts may cover a broad range of fields, yet no direct application focus is required. Manuscripts with a strong application focus might be more suitable for our companion journal RSC Applied Polymers. Polymer Chemistry is a hybrid (transformative) journal and gives authors the choice of publishing their research either via the traditional subscription-based model or instead by choosing our gold open access option. Polymer Chemistry publishes a number of themed collections on timely and important topics, guest edited by members of the journal community.
