Orthopedics is the branch of medicine concerned with the correction or prevention of skeleton deformities, disorders, and injuries, as well as associated structures (ligaments, muscles, and tendons) of the human body. Traumatology is frequently regarded as a subset of orthopaedic surgery. It works with people who have experienced or been exposed to highly traumatic events in their lives and assists them in their recovery.
