The Nouvelle revue d'esthétique is part of the tradition of a reflection on art, an open reflection that privileges works and attempts to think them for what they show. Reflection that takes as its object the field of art and all that it encompasses: both the works themselves and the work that these works generate (criticism, history, theories), not forgetting the cultural work that art performs within society. To meet this objective, each issue includes a thematic dossier, a number of "varia" featuring outside contributions, and a wide range of reviews.
