Norsk filosofisk tidsskrift (1966-) is an important mediatory channel for Norwegian philosophers and represents both the breadth and the best within Norwegian philosophy. The journal’s main emphasis is on specific problems for discussion in the discipline and on articles that present important philosophic authors; it also publishes contributions from the other Scandinavian countries. The journal is open for debate contributions and reviews of topical philosophic literature. Norsk filosofisk tidsskrift is published by Scandinavian University Press, with economic support from Nasjonalt tidsskriftkonsortium for humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap. Norsk filosofisk tidsskrift is read by researchers and teachers and students of philosophy but is also directed to other professional environments. The journal is issued quarterly and publishes mainly in Norwegian. From 2017, the journal will be published open access.
