Norsk Arkivforum is the central journal for Norwegian archival research. The journal provides an overview and basis for understanding fundamental important parts of information management in public and private administration. The journal publishes articles, debates and commentary, and book reviews, and evaluates new works. Norsk Arkivforum was started in 1980, and has become the central forum for archival research. Norsk Arkivforum is normally published once a year. The journal is aimed at archivists, records managers, computer scientists, historians, humanists and social scientists, students and the generally interested reader. The journal is published open access. The journal is published by Arkivarforeningen in collaboration with Scandinavian University Press, and with support from Norskspråklige åpne tidsskrift innen humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap.
