Journal Descriptions
Nordic Journal of Education and Practice is aimed at the field of education in basic education and within professional education. The relationship between education and practice is emphasized, and the journal seeks to promote education-related research. This involves illuminating a broad spectrum of topics such as management, organizational development, practical training, as well as pedagogical and subject-didactic issues. The journal is oriented towards practice-oriented research at all levels and areas of the education system, from kindergarten to higher education. The journal seeks articles that are empirically based, but also welcomes theoretical and methodological contributions with relevance for research and development work within the journal's thematic area. Nordic Journal of Education and Practice publishes scientific articles at level 1. The journal was called R&D in Practice until September 1, 2019.
