Journal Descriptions

Nordisk Domssamling is a collection of judgements with short summaries of relevant decisions in the Nordic supreme courts. The summaries are arranged by subject and provide references to where the decisions are to be found in their entirety. The collection makes it possible easily to survey legal usage of common Nordic interest and contributes to making application of the law in the Nordic countries more homogeneous. The journal is an important link in the work to preserve and develop our Nordic legal culture. Nordisk Domssamling has been published since 1958, on the recommendation of the Nordic Council, and is directed mainly at Nordic lawyers. The collection is distributed on paper twice a year together with Tidsskrift for Rettsvitenskap.
