Nordic Journal of Social Research is a multidisciplinary, open access, double blinded peer-reviewed journal that publishes high quality papers based on issues related to the Nordic welfare states. The journal will publish research from a broad field of perspectives related to structures, processes, development, change and continuity in the viabilities of the welfare. The journal aims to publish articles that present new empirical data, endeavors to advance theoretical development, enhance the discussion of policy implications and expand our knowledge of the Nordic nations/states. Studies may focus on flows within or between macro, meso and/or micro levels in public and/or private domains. NJSR aim to: To develop Nordic social research theoretically and empirically To contribute to the development of the Nordic social research as an international interdisciplinary field
