Nordic Journal of Criminology, formerly Journal of Scandinavian Studies in Criminology and Crime Prevention (2000–2018), is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing original research articles in the field of criminology and crime prevention. The journal provides a forum for criminological research across a wide range of disciplines and methodologies. Priority is given to research with Nordic relevance, such as studies based on Nordic data. Readership: criminologists, sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists and others with an interest in crime, control and prevention. Nordic Journal of Criminology is published under the auspices of The Nordic Research Council for Criminology. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the editors, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees.
