The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and theoretical studies covering various aspects of librarianship and information management. Its focus includes library services, information organization, knowledge management, digital libraries, archives administration, and emerging technologies in information science. It also addresses contemporary issues such as open access, information literacy, and the role of libraries in national development. Nigerian Libraries plays a significant role in advancing professional practice and research in LIS, particularly within developing countries. It maintains academic quality through a rigorous peer-review process and encourages contributions from both local and international scholars.
