The New Zealand Journal of Geology and Geophysics (NZJGG) is an international journal publishing original scientific papers on all aspects of geoscience. We welcome high-quality submissions from around the world that will make an impact on Earth science research relevant to the Pacific Rim, Southern Ocean and Antarctica. We strongly support early-career researchers. The journal publishes original research papers, review articles and short communications, and regularly assembles topical Special Issues. In addition: Eligible authors, from institutions participating in a Read & Publish agreement with Taylor & Francis, can publish Open Access in NZJGG without the need to pay an article publishing charge (APC). No page charges for publication under the subscription model Free colour printing Articles published online before quarterly print publication. All NZJGG articles are freely available to all readers three years after the close of each annual volume. Members of the Geoscience Society of New Zealand are entitled to online access to NZJGG as a benefit of membership.
