New Zealand Entomologist (NZE)
Journal Descriptions
The invertebrate diversity of New Zealand is of great interest worldwide because of its geographic isolation and geological history. The New Zealand Entomologist plays an important role in disseminating information on field-based, experimental, and theoretical research. The New Zealand Entomologist welcomes submissions of original research papers, review papers and short communications on insects and allied groups from New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific. The journal’s subject matter encompasses taxonomy, phylogenetics, biogeography, biological control and pest management, conservation, ecology, and natural history. Papers with a primary focus on topics such as new species records or novel field observations may be more suitable for our sister publication, The Weta. Please contact the Editor in advance if you are unsure whether your proposed submission meets our publication criteria.
