Network: Computation in Neural Systems (NCNS)
Journal Descriptions
Network: Computation in Neural Systems is devoted to publishing theoretical neuroscience research that is supported by experimental data with a focus on new technologies. We encourage authors and researchers to submit their work on: Theoretical neuroscience including neural network modelling of brain function Applications of neural networks in data analysis and pattern recognition including image analysis and speech processing Applications of neural networks in control systems including robotics, state estimation, fault detection and diagnosis Analysis of neurophysiology data recorded from experimental studies with animals Analysis of experimental data from studies on the human brain, including imaging techniques such as MRI, fMRI, EEG and PET The neurobiological foundations of consciousness in the brain and its simulation in machines We also welcome submissions on neural network data analyses and biologically motivated neural modeling perspectives. Articles must contain significant mathematical support.
