National Geographic Research & Exploration (NGRE)

National Geographic Research & Exploration was a scholarly publication issued by the National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C. The journal focused on scientific exploration and multidisciplinary research related to geography, archaeology, anthropology, ecology, natural history, environmental studies, and cultural research. It served as an academic extension of the well known National Geographic tradition of scientific discovery and field based investigation.
