Nano Research Energy (NRE)
Journal Descriptions
Nano Research Energy (e-ISSN:2790-8119), a sister journal of Nano Research , is an all-English open access journal founded by Tsinghua University Press in March 2022. It is edited by Professor Qu Liangti (Tsinghua University) and Professor Zhi Chunyi (City University of Hong Kong). APC fees are waived before 2023, and the first issue was officially published in June. Energy low-carbon transformation and high-quality development are major opportunities and challenges facing the world today. It is urgent to further promote the revolution in energy production and consumption and build important supporting technologies for a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system. As an international multidisciplinary cross-disciplinary journal, Nano Research Energy focuses on cutting-edge research and applications of nanomaterials and nanoscience and technology in new energy-related fields, including but not limited to electrocatalysis and photocatalysis, fuel cells, new battery technologies, advanced energy storage devices, supercapacitors, bioenergy and biofuels, carbon capture and storage technology , hydrogen energy, solar energy , wind energy , geothermal energy, nuclear energy, hydropower, energy economics, energy security and other topics. It is benchmarked against the top international energy journals and is committed to publishing high-level original research and review papers to help achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
