Materials Chemistry Frontiers focuses on the synthesis and chemistry of exciting new materials, and the development of improved fabrication techniques. Characterisation and fundamental studies that are of broad appeal are also welcome. This is the ideal home for studies of a significant nature that further the development of organic, inorganic, composite and nano-materials. Materials Chemistry Frontiers is a hybrid journal and gives authors the choice of publishing their research either via the traditional subscription-based model or instead by choosing our gold open access option. Materials Chemistry Frontiers belongs to Frontiers Journal portfolio, an enterprising collaboration between the Chinese Chemical Society and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
